Court Rules
Play Time Limits
- • Singles: 1 hour maximum
- • Doubles: 2 hours maximum
- • Maximum 6 tennis balls per court
Requirements
- • Smooth-soled tennis shoes only
- • Valid permit required at all times
- • Photo ID may be required

Do I need a permit for indoor courts?▼
Indoor tennis does not require an NYC Parks tennis permit and has special pricing and schedules. Contact individual facilities for rates.
Can I get a refund on my permit?▼
No, once purchased, tennis permits cannot be refunded or transferred.
How do online reservations work?▼
Online reservations cost $15/hour and can be made up to 7 days in advance at select courts. You still need a valid tennis permit or single-play ticket to play. Reserve a court online.
